In "The Kitchen" by Laura Holloway, the Martin family navigates the complexities of their relationships amidst the backdrop of their patriarch Barney's declining health. The play opens in the present day in Rose Hill, Mississippi, with urgent late-night phone calls summoning the children and grandchildren back to their family home. As the siblings reunite, the family's kitchen becomes a battleground for old grudges,
and a safe place for sharing long-buried secrets. It's family, sickness, and death, and somehow, thankfully, that also means it's comedy.

Isn't it interesting what happens in the privacy of the bathroom?
